This co-housing (to be) in the heart of Ghent is a hommage to a raided house back in 2020. 500 illegal cannabis plants were discovered by a utility worker during issues with electricity in the street.
The plants are out, this 130 year old house is ready for a change of destiny!

Complete design & renovation of a 70’s apartment in Aalst, Belgium. Create your desired scènery and switch according mood/vibe with a fully controllable lightning system. Ok and now the truth: I missed nightlife so hard (anno 2021) I decided to build my own club.

Stool design
Slim means smart in Dutch. This object looks very light and simple when collapsed but transforms in a functional stool within seconds.
The seating is hold tight to the legs using Neodymium magnets and the legs stay together by strong hidden hinges. Although it may look light, it supports weights up to 130 kilograms. Built in is a locking mechanism on top which blocks lateral movement of the seat.
The best thing is the surprise when revealing the secret behind the banal looking sheet of wood.

EYES/NIGHTS ONLY is a residence concept by DIFT based on an exhibition set-up, which will only be open during Biennale Interieur in Kortrijk. The concept involves temporary residences, in which designers and brands create an artistic installation reflecting their take on a hotel room. During the day, the rooms will be accessible to visitors, and at night they become the rationale of the project: creating affordable rooms for young designers and visitors of the Biennale Interieur 2014.
Inspired by the typical USA motels in movies.
